The specifications state that bridge closeure period is 128 calendar days. Please clarify if the closure needs to be completed during the low flow period (July 1 to October 31) as stated in the DEM permit.

In response to your ansewer for the approved RIDOT precastor, some of the walls systems listed in special provision 805.9902 - modular wall page JS-39 are not on the approved RIDOT list.
Answer:
Based on past projects, products, and precast plants, that are not on the RIDOT approved lists can get approved, through coordination between the Contractor, the Manufacturer, and RIDOT Materials Section. This process of getting approved without impacting the project schedule will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor.

PLEASE CLARIFY IF THE PRECAST SPANDREL WALLS AND MODULAR WALLS HAVE TO BE FABRICATED BY AN APPROVED RIDOT PRECASTOR.
Answer:
Both the Precast Spandrel Walls and Modular Walls have to be fabricated by an approved RIDOT Precaster.
