Question:
Please provide a list of acceptable contractors that will quote installing the Pervious Concrete. There are no contractors approved in Rhode Island for this work, and we have been unable to get a quote from any of the other listed contractors in nearby states. Please advise if a waiver will be accepted for this work if we are unable to find a contractor to meet this qualifications. |
|
Answer:
Functionality of the porous cement sidewalk is a critical component of the environmental permitting. The NRMCA certification web page lists several qualified installers including at least one in Rhode Island. This item shall be provided as specified. |
