15% is the Goal determiner by the Department for this project. This goal will remain unchanged. The goal must either (A) be met, or (B) An Appendix E Documentation of Good Faith Efforts Form must be submitted showing that adequate efforts were made to meet the project’s DBE goal. Efforts are “adequate” if it demonstrates that the bidder took all necessary and reasonable steps to achieve the set DBE goal by their scope, intensity, and appropriateness to the objective. |
