This item uses flat tooth technology. Please see job specific specification. The Model is called the Flatliner. It’s a skid steer attachment manufactured by Keystone Engineering. Their number is 317-271-6192 and the local representative is Andrea Latham. An acceptable substitute is diamond grinding. |

In the tree root pruning areas, the DOT Standard Specs states that the cut made by the specified machinery shall be 15 to 18 inches deep. this depth will cause us to hit the Geotextile fabric and crushed stone base system located under portions of Segment 6 of the bikeway. please advise |

Within Volume 2 of the plans, there are specific areas where the mechanical root pruning cannot exceed 15 inches. The known locations where this needs to occur are noted on the plans. |

CS-2 states that all hot mix asphalt shall be paver placed. will the hot mix asphalt in the small QTY areas also be required to be paver placed? some of these areas are as little as 5 SY. please advise. |

Sheet CS-2 calls out that no areas are to be left without pavement by the end of the work day. Will the full depth 4" of 9.5 HMA have to be placed by the end of each work day, or can the first 2" lift "binder course" be left at end of day. |
