Question:
Under the Chief Inspector titles it appears the RFP is asking for 6 years of Structural/ Highway experience and 2 years construction experience. Is it safe to assume the RFP is referring to "design" experience? If so, the experience required doesn't match the duties listed. Would there be consideration to provide a more construction experienced Chief Inspector and Design Support staff to be used on an as needed basis only? |
|
Answer:
Yes RIDOT would consider individual experience in construction as it relates to the responsibilities in inspection and oversight and utilizing design support staff only as needed. |

Question:
For the Conflicts of Disclosure Statement form: Our firm has 20+ people that fall under the categories of Owners, Directors, Principals, Officers, Board Members, etc. Is a signed form required from each individual, or would one signed form by an authorized individual on behalf of the entire firm meet your requirements? |
|
Answer:
As far as the Principals etc., a single authorized FORM with a list of names attached would be acceptable unless of course an individual written disclosure was needed for any specific individual. As far as the on-site key personnel to be assigned to Project, an individual disclosure FORM should be completed by each person. |

On page 4 of the RFP, under TAB 2 - QUALIFICATIONS AND STAFFING - Sub-VENDOR{s}: “Sub-VENDOR must disclose a company introduction for the VENDOR; this must include each sub-VENDOR's organizational structure, business background, office location and the type of work they will perform in response to this solicitation. Proof of professional certifications must also be provided.” Do we need to include the sub info as described above in the RFP requirements in our 30 page submittal AND as an exhibit, as described in addendum #2 on page 2? |

PRIME shall include EACH SUB's fully inclusive Sub-Proposal as an "Exhibit" and may only need to reference Subs by name and type of services as part of 30 PAGE narrative.
