There will be a new President and Congress in Washington, DC, in January, and transportation officials want to know what you think they should hear about transportation. A new website is designed to gather YOUR views – as unfiltered and direct as the everyday users of America’s transportation system.
What bothers you? Congestion? Safety? Potholes? Bumpy pavement? In 2009 the new President and Congress must act to determine how the federal government will support and fund transportation – and you can be part of the conversation.
It’s easy – just go to www.IToldThePresident.org and post a comment or send in your one-minute video. Be sure to forward this link to your co-workers, neighbors, anyone who drives a car or truck, rides a bus or subway, or simply takes a walk every day. The "I told the President" website is sponsored by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
