Highway Safety Performance Plan

The Rhode Island Highway Safety Performance Plan serves as the State of Rhode Island’s application for Federal funds for highway safety programs. The goals for the RIDOT Office on Highway Safety are described in the plan, along with performance measures, and strategies related to the program areas.

ANNUAL MEETINGS OF

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation had the distinct honor of hosting the 2011 NESMEA and NEAUPG Annual Meetings at the beautiful Biltmore Hotel in Providence.

During these meetings, materials issues that affect the region were discussed along with implementation efforts in some areas.

Schedule Overview

A closed session of the states and FHWA took place on Monday afternoon, October 3rd.
