Necessary steps in Child Restraint Equipment

Graphic of steps in child restraint equipmentAs children grow, parents keep up with size changes in shoes and clothing. Similarly, keeping children safe in vehicles means putting them in the right restraint at the right age.

Car crashes are the leading cause of death among children 4 to 14. The appropriate restraint can reduce that risk as much as 71%.

So don't skip a step. When your child is between 4 and 8 years old, use a booster seat!

Remember it's Click It or Ticket. You could save $75.00 and maybe even your child's life. For more information contact the Governor's Office on Highway Saftey at 222-3024.
