Relocating I-195 in Providence
RIDOT is in the middle of a series of construction projects that will move the interchange of I-95 and I-195 in Providence to the south. Some of the existing ramps in the interchange enter roadways from the left. Once the Iway projects are complete and the new roads, bridges and ramps are open, all ramps in the interchange will enter roadways from the right, in conformance with modern design standards.
