Please clarify Mix Types being placed on Hartford and Bishop. It calls out for BCP 1 in the Milled areas and BCP 6 in the adjacent full depth areas. BCP 1 is a 9.5mm surface and BCP 6 is a 12.5mm surface. |

Please provide Milling Depths for Mount Pleasant and North Main St Locations. |

Answer:
The pavement on Mount Pleasant Ave. is to be milled to a depth of 2 inches as shown on the typical section. The pavement on North Main St. is to be milled down to the concrete base (Note 7 on Sheet 5) to allow the contractor to clean and seal the joints in the concrete base as directed by the Engineer. The best information available indicates 3 inches of pavement (+/-) over the concrete base. A clarification to the Job Specific Legend will be made as part of Addendum No. 1 |
