Question:
Section B.1.m (Design Phase Services) on page 6 of the RFP notes that the consultant would be responsible for obtaining environmental permits. In a Design-Build project, this task is normally the responsibility of the DB Entity, since the BTC plans are typically only developed to a 30% level. Should we assume that this task only includes coordinating with agencies and identifying potential required permits for inclusion in the RFP Technical Specifications?
Answer:
It is the Department’s intention to obtain environmental permits during the BTC development.
