Please take another look at the 10% DBE requirement for this project. With this projects small quantities of items, usually performed by DBE subs, it will be very difficult to meet that goal.
Answer:
RIDOT reviewed the Items of work in the contract and determined a 10% goal is realistic.

Question:
The contractor is responsible to install the RIDEM Insignificant Alteration Permit sign (incidental to the project). Is this sign being furnished by RIDOT?
Answer:
Installation of the RIDEM sign is incidental, as noted on CS-3 of the Contract Document. The RIDEM Permit (Terms and Conditions Note 8) requires a sign 12 inches wide and 18 inches long that identifies DEM and the application number.

Question:
The work hours described on page CS-3 at the school properties only allow construction from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Is it possible to extend that time until 3:30 PM in order to fill a complete 8 hour work day?
Answer:
Addendum-2 will extend work hours to 3:30pm.
