Specification 926 - Anchored Barrier of the Compilation of Approved Specifications dated 9/20/18 - Section 926.02.4 Anchorage System states that "For new or existing bridge decks, the anhorage system shall meet or exceed the specific test level as specified on the Plans." The specifications does not include an anchorage system in existing roadways only existing bridge decks.
Answer:
This has been clarified in Addendum No. 2.

Question:
The plans call for anchored precast barrier on Promenade Street. There barrier is placed on asphalt with a gravel base. There is nothing to anchor the barrier to. Please clarify if this is just RI Std 40.5.0 barrier.
Answer:
The barrier shall be pinned into the ground per manufacturer’s recommendations in areas where there is not sufficient room for the barrier to slide when hit. This includes, but is not limited too, barrier around the temporary shoring towers.

Question:
On sheet 16 of 27, there are two tables for the jacking and shoring loads for G-45, G-46, G-61, and G-62. Please clariy which table is correct.
Answer:
The Jack and Shoring Loads table indicates the jacking forces to be applied. However the shoring and jacks shall have the capacities noted in Minimum Shoring and Jacking Capacities Table.
