Question:
Will the job completion date be revised? The new TMP has reduced working hours compared to the original bid, and the completion date was moved from August to July 2019. This job is now being bid a month later, with decreased work hours and decreased days to completion. Please advise. |

Answer:
It is acknowledged that the completion date has changed however it will not be revised and will remain at July 31, 2019. Note that the allowable dates that the road can be closed for construction has been increased from the original bid package. The shop drawing review time has also been reduced to 21 days. |

Question:
There are a large amount of "Round up" or "Contingency" item quantities in the distribution of quantities item breakdowns. This project is being rebid due to mistakes made to the quantity breakdowns given the first time around. Is it possible to put out a project to bid with proper plans that show where the work is, and has corresponding bid quantities to match? This would help solve any future bidding irregularities. |
