SAFETEA-LU
Under the 2005 Transportation Reauthorization legislation, SAFETEA-LU (Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century – A Legacy for Users), Rhode Island is expected to receive the following funding through the Federal Highway Administration over the next five fiscal years.
