• Providence: I-95 North at Exit 37 B/C/D interchange, various exit ramp closures will be closed as needed for bridge work, Sun. – Thurs. nights, 11 p.m. – 6 a.m. Follow signed detour.
• Providence: I-95, from Exit 37A to Exit 39A, alternating lane closures for barrier installation & pothole patching, Sun. – Thurs. nights, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
  

Washington Bridge, East Providence/Providence

• New Traffic Pattern: Bypass lanes for I-195 West traffic from East Providence to Providence are open. This temporary traffic pattern allows three lanes of travel eastbound and three lanes of travel westbound – all operating on the eastbound Washington Bridge. Expect delays.
• Providence/East Providence: I-195, from South Main St. to Broadway, alternating lane closures for striping, Sun.-Thurs. nights, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
  

Weekend

• Providence: I-95 North, at Exit 39A (Branch Ave.), exit closed for guardrail repair, Sat. morning, 5 a.m. – 7 a.m. Follow signed detour.

Reconstruction of Route 146 (Lincoln/North Smithfield)

• Lincoln: The on-ramp from Rte. 146 South to I-295 North will be closed for bridge work through the fall. Follow signed detour.
• Lincoln: Starting Fri. (May 17) at 9 p.m., Rte. 146 North, at Exit 8B (I-295 South), exit closed for a traffic shift through the fall. A lane split will be in place to divide highway. Follow signed detour.

6/10 Interchange Project (Providence)

• Providence: Effective Fri. night (May 10), the newly reconstructed ramp from Rte. 6 East to Rte. 10 South, is scheduled to open after the evening rush hour.
• Providence: Rte. 6 West, from 6/10 split to Rte. 10 South, alternating lane closures for landscaping, Mon. – Fri, 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

New Traffic Pattern

• Providence: All traffic on Rte. 146 South under the Hawkins St. Bridge has shifted to the left through early May, then will shift to the right until the end of June.

Henderson Bridge (East Providence, Providence)

• East Providence: East River St./River Dr., from Waterman St. to Angell St., road closed for bridge demolition, Mon. – Fri., 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Follow signed detour.
• East Providence: Waterfront Dr., from Waterman Ave. to the roundabout, lane narrowing for drainage and curbing work, Mon. – Fri., 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Weekday

• Providence: Rte. 1, from Massachusetts Ave. to Indiana Ave., right lane closure for sidewalk work, Mon. – Fri., 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

East Bay Bike Path Bridges

• Barrington/Warren: Rte. 114, at the Barrington and Warren Bridges, the northbound boardwalks will remain open during demolition and construction of the bike path bridges, providing a continuous off-road path around the construction area.

Newport Pell Bridge Approaches - Phase II

• Newport: Route 138 East, up to Admiral Kalbfus Rd., including the roundabout and JT Connell Highway toward Van Zandt and America’s Cup avenues, and Route 138 West back toward the Pell Bridge, alternating lane closures for milling & paving, Sun. – Thurs. nights, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. through May 24.

Weekday

• Middletown: Rte. 138A (Aquidneck Ave.), from Newport Ave. to Purgatory Rd., alternating one-way traffic for wheelchair ramp installation, Mon. – Fri., 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Temporary Road Closure

• Glocester/Burrillville: Reservoir Rd., road closed for drainage pipe replacement, with local traffic only from Rte. 44 North to George Eddy Rd., and from Rte. 100 South to #555 Reservoir Rd., Wed. & Thurs., 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Follow signed detour.

Weekday

• Chepachet: Rte. 44, at Martin Lot Cemetery, a lane shift will be in place for retaining wall work, Mon. – Fri., 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

• North Kingstown: Effective Sun. night (May 12), the travel lanes on Rte. 138 East under the Tower Hill Rd. (Rte. 1) Bridge are scheduled to shift to the left. Rte. 138 West is currently scheduled to shift to the left on Fri. night (May 17.)
