Rte 122 Woonsocket: On Rte. 122 (Hamlet Ave.) at the Hamlet Avenue Bridge over the Blackstone River, one lane closed in each direction for bridge work through Fall 2016.

Upcoming Traffic Pattern Changes

Warwick: The Veterans Memorial Drive Extension, the new roadway segment in Apponaug, is scheduled to open for westbound traffic during the week of October 11.  (The actual opening date is weather dependent.)  This will involve the conversion of Greenwich Avenue to two-way traffic, the closure of a portion of Centerville Road, along with several other major changes to the existing traffic patterns.  Stay tuned for further details.

Warwick: Rte. 1 (Post Rd.), from Veterans Memorial Dr. to Winslow Ave., one lane of alternating traffic for construction, Sunday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.

Warwick: A new traffic pattern is currently underway, with all traffic utilizing the new roundabout at the intersection of Rte. 117 (Centerville Rd.), Rte. 115 (Toll Gate Rd.) and Gilbane St. Use caution when driving through the area.

Warwick: Airport Connector East and West, from Jefferson Blvd. to the Post Rd. overpass, left lane closed for bridge work through Fall 2016.

Rte 2 Warwick: Rte. 2 North and South under I-295, bridge work behind barrier, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Fall 2016.

Rte 2 East Greenwich: Rte. 2 (South County Trail) North and South over Rte. 4, right lane closures for bridge work through the end of the year.

Warwick: A temporary traffic signal has been activated at the Metro Center Blvd. Bridge carrying Metro Center Blvd. over the Airport Connector. With this activation, the detour has been removed. Motorists will now experience one lane of alternating traffic, and possible delays, through Winter 2017.

Warwick: Airport Connector East and West, from I-95 to T.F. Green Airport, lane shifts for construction through December 2016.

Rte 2 Warwick: Rte. 2 North and South, from East Ave. to I-295, shoulder closures for bridge work, through December 2016.

Warwick: As part of the Apponaug Circulator Project, Kettle St. at Greenwich Ave. has closed permanently. Use Toll Gate Rd., Gilbert St. and Tanner Ave. as an alternate route. Get Detour Map »

Rte 1 Warwick: The right lane is closed on a short section of the Post Rd. Extension East, beginning at Post Rd., for Apponaug Circulator work. This restriction will remain throughout the duration of the project.
