I-95 North Viaduct, ProvidenceProvidence: I-95 North motorists are using a new traffic pattern after the Downtown exit and near Providence Place Mall with a newly relocated Exit 38, about one mile south of its former location. RIDOT has posted numerous signs to guide motorists to their destinations.
Providence: I-95 North at Exit 37BCD interchange, various ramps will be temporarily closed and reopened as needed for barrier painting and bridge work, Sun.-Thurs. nights, 11 p.m. – 6 a.m. Follow signed detour.

(Nov. 10) at 5 a.m., we will close two lanes in both directions on I-95 for the decommissioning of a bridge over an inactive rail line between Cadillac Dr. and the Roger Williams Park Zoo property. Reconstruction of Route 146 (Lincoln/North Smithfield)North Smithfield: Beginning Fri. night (Nov. 7) at 8 p.m., we will close one of the two lanes on Route 146 South at the Route 146A interchange in North Smithfield through the weekend, reopening by 5 a.m. on Mon. (Nov. 10). The closure is located approximately one mile south of the Route 104 (Greenville Avenue) exit. Also starting Fri. night, we will close a temporary left-hand ramp from Rte. 146 South to Rte. 146A North for six weeks before it is replaced with a new ramp on the right-hand side of the highway. North Smithfield: A lane split is in place on Rte. 146 North and South just before the Sayles Hill Rd. intersection. Rte. 146 through-traffic will continue straight over the new portion of the Sayles Hill Rd. flyover in the left lane. Sayles Hill Rd. traffic, local turns, and wide loads are directed to the right lane. Both lanes continue north through Rte. 146.

Foster: The Mill Road Bridge located between Rte. 102 (Foster Center Rd.) and Wright Ln. is back open to traffic.
Cumberland: We have shifted traffic onto the newly constructed south side of the Mendon Road Bridge on Rte. 122. One lane in each direction will be maintained on the bridge through fall 2025.
Foster: Alternating one-way traffic with a temporary traffic signal at the Moosup Valley Rd. Bridge, from Potter Rd. to the Tyler Free Library, will remain in place until further notice. Learn more.
