Rte 4 Warwick: Rte. 4 South, from the I-95 split to Exit 8 (Rte. 2/East Greenwich), right shoulder closed until December 2017 for bridge work.

Temporary Road Closures

Rte 5 Johnston: Rte. 5 (Greenville Ave.) at I-295 is closed for Narragansett Bay Commission sewer line installation through November 2017. The work zone has been modified with the closure from Salina Ave. to Atwood Ave. Follow signed detours. Please note: the road will remain open to local traffic and emergency vehicles. Pawtucket
: Division Street East over the Division Street Bridge, from Pleasant St. to Water St., will be closed for construction Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Westbound travel is not restricted.  Local traffic is being detoured via Main St. and School St., with an advanced detour available on I-95 North at Exit 28 (School St.)

Providence: Westminster St. South, from Exchange St. to Dorrance St., is closed for construction, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Follow signed detour.

Rte 2 Cranston: Rte. 2 North and South, from Sockanosset Cross Rd. to Howard Ave. under the Rte. 37 overpass, right shoulder and merge lanes closed for bridge work through Friday, November 17. Please note: Motorists exiting Rte. 37 West to Rte. 2 South and Rte. 37 East to Rte. 2 North will be required to stop at the bottom of the ramps prior to entering Rte. 2.

Rte 152 East Providence: Rte. 152 (Newman Ave.) North & South, from Barney St. to the Massachusetts state line, alternating one-way traffic for bridge construction in effect through the duration of the project.

Pawtucket: Taft St., under the Division St. Bridge, a lane shift for construction is now in effect through September.

West Bay

Ongoing Traffic Patterns

Warwick: At Apponaug Four Corners (Post Rd. at Centerville Rd. and Greenwich Ave.), a new traffic pattern has been established. Motorists are now required to navigate through the area around traffic barrels as a phase in the roundabout development. Stay to the right of the barrels. Please note: work on the center roundabout area will continue in the middle of the barrels. Lane shifts for construction Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Warwick: Apponaug Four Corners Roundabout at Greenwich Ave./Post Rd., expect narrowed traveled ways in this vicinity for about two weeks starting Monday, September 18 as stamped concrete crosswalks will be poured in halves, with traffic shifted to one side, allowing the concrete to properly set and cure. Please expect delays and seek alternate route.

Temporary Road Closures

Rte 117 Warwick: Rte. 117 (Centerville Rd.), east of Meadow St. to Post Rd., including the bridge, remains closed to through traffic for construction until the final traffic configuration is implemented.  Local traffic access will be maintained to the businesses.

Warwick: Post Rd. Village, from Apponaug Four Corners to West Shore Rd., road closed for construction, Sunday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day. Follow signed detour via Veterans Memorial Dr.

Coventry: Arnold Rd. North and South, from Tiogue Ave. to New London Turnpike, two lanes of traffic with narrowed lanes possible, with occasional stoppage in traffic for equipment movement, for Town of Coventry sidewalk and repaving work, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through the end of November.

Rte 102 Coventry:
Rte. 102 at Rte. 117, lane shifts in place, with alternating lane closures possible for construction, Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Warwick: Airport Connector East at the Jefferson Blvd. off-ramp, lanes shifted to the high speed lane, with all exits open. Westbound traffic will continue through the current configuration through Winter 2017.
