The Warren Bike Path is one of the shortest bikeways in Rhode Island. The 1-mile path in the eastern portion of town extends from the Kickemuit River to Long Lane, close to the Massachusetts border. Get Map »
The path follows the abandoned Warren-Fall River Railroad spur. The new path provides a major recreational asset to the town, and provides options for biking or walking to school as it links Kickemuit Middle School, Hugh Cole Elementary School and Warren Recreation Park.
A future section will include a bridge over the Kickemuit River (also known as "the broken bridge"), connecting to neighborhoods on the west side of the river.
The bike path opened in 2010.
The path is mostly level. On-road options exist for getting to the nearby East Bay Bike Path.
